Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, on Friday introduced articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden for alleged abuse of power. He accused President Biden of abusing his office by allowing his son, Hunter Biden, to gain from his position of power in their business activities.

“I have introduced House Res. 57. These are articles of impeachment on President Joe Biden for abuse of power in regards to his willingness to use his position of power to aid his son Hunter Biden in their business dealings,” Greene said on the U.S. House Floor.

In addition to that, the senior Republican on the US House Oversight Committee, James Comer, had issued a letter in which he asked the owner of a New York art gallery to file a list of clients who bought the artwork of Hunter Biden, stating concerns that the transactions that have been made were exploited to infringe the international sanctions. The connection of Hunter Biden with the White House was a matter of concern for Comer.

Prior to this, the New York Post, presenting public records, claimed that an art gallery displaying the artworks by Hunter Biden had gotten Covid-19 assistance of $500,000 following Joe Biden taking the leadership in the last year.

However, a sum of $580,000 was granted as large loans for the two art gallery employees. Although, it was not cited by either Bergés or the public records that President Joe Biden was engaged in the stated scheme.
