Ocasio Cortez’s own party have turned against her, the democratic leadership have been looking for ways to get rid of her for years. Now, they seem to have found a way to push her out. Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez often boasts about her power and how she’s the future of the democratic party. It’s no secret that Democratic lawmakers have grown tired of Ocasio Cortez and her never-ending stunts, and now Democrats may have the opportunity to eliminate Cortez’s House seat which would remove her from Congress entirely. To make issues worse for Ocasio-Cortez, voters in her constituent want her immediate resignation or impeachment as well.
Over the weekend, thousands of New York City residents stormed the streets in protests against Ocasio-Cortez. The protesters counted many atrocities AOC has committed against them since she got elected. Like driving thousands of Amazon jobs away from New York, allowing illegal aliens into the streets of New York, and most recently defending Mayor De Blasio when he failed to warn New Yorkers about the fatal storm that lashed the city, rather blaming the effects of climate change for the storm. With her constituent calling for her removal and top democrats growing tired of her whining, AOC seem to be all alone and fighting for her political future as things stand.
Meanwhile, A recent piece published by the New York Post details how Ocasio Cortez’s decision to oppose Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden’s agenda has ruffled some feathers within the democratic leadership and many believe it is time to go.
